New Opportunities

I’ve been genuinely so busy this week with homework, revision, blah blah blah… but I’ve got some pretty exciting news. On Tuesday I went to my first proper audition in London, I was audition for the main characters sister and I think it went really well! The audition was for a web series about how two people meet and how it’s more than just a coincidence. I haven’t heard anything back from them but I’m sure they’ll contacted me soon. Also, I might be narrating a short animated film which is soo exciting. I’ve still been going to the theatre every Tuesday after school and the acting coach/assistant is pushing us so hard during our sessions. I’ve had so many new opportunities open up for me this month and I’m so greatful.

School has been taking up most of my time because I have my exams in 3 months. I’ve had a lot of revision to do and not much time to blog. I’ve had to make presentations lately for media studies on our case studies for our exams which is tireing and we have more research to conduct. I have another psychology mock in two weeks and I’m going for an A grade again like I got in my mock. I’ve already started revision and I think this paper will be easier than the mock paper. The weather has been great this week however the sunny weather has started to remind me of exams this summer😂 I’ve finally got an offer from Loughborough university meaning that I’ve got all 5 university offers!!🎉

Also, I’ve been watching Naruto and now I’m on episode 157. It’s soo good and I decided to start watching this anime because anyone who is a fan of anime has watched Naruto. It’s just as good as Hunter X Hunter if not better. I can’t wait to finish the whole anime even though I know this isn’t the best time to start an anime. What’s worse is that I haven’t finished watching Yu-Gi-Oh! GX but I’ll finish that after I’ve watched Naruto and Naruto Shippuden.

I hope you guys have been having a great week and I hope you guys have a great weekend!

Liebster Award

Thank you, AwkwardKid for nominating me for the Liebster award! This is the second time you’ve nominated me for this award, I’m very grateful. I really enjoy reading your blog posts and thanks for the great questions, here are my answers:

Are you on or are you going on holiday? If so, where?

I’m not on holiday right now but I think I might be going to Butlins and centre parks in a couple of weeks which is really exciting!

Sweet or salted popcorn?

I like both sweet and salted popcorn however, I wouldn’t have them mixed together. Ultimately, I would choose sweet just beacuse I have a sweet tooth and I love toffee popcorn.

What kind of music do you listen to?

I listen to a lot of different genres of music however I mostly listen to hip-hop, r&b and alternative rock. I like different artists in nearly all genres of music which is great.

Is the reason you started blogging, the same reason you stick to it?

Kind of, I started blogging so I do posts on Charmed, the TV show, which I still do but now I’m blogging more about music and my personal life. Music has always been a passion of mine and its nice to share my music taste with others. I started to do personal posts beacuse I wanted to share my experiences with others and that’s the same reason why I’m still doing it today.

Who’s you celebrity crush?

I don’t really have any celebrity crush except from Zendaya ( you guys all know who she is) and Tara Koltun, a Canadian model. If you don’t know who he his, please look him up and you’ll see what I mean 😉

Would you rather be hot or cold?

I would rather be cold beacuse when you’re cold you can just put layers of clothing on yourself until you’re warm and use blankets. Generally, I think I tolerate heat better but when you’re really hot you just want to strip off all your clothes unless you have a great fan.

What’s your favourite part of yourself in general?

Hmmm, this is hard question beacuse you notice your flaws more than the good qualities in yourself. I would probably say that my favourite part of my self is my generosity and how open minded I can be.

What’s your favourite book?

My favourite book is A Spoonful of Jam by Michelle Magorian. It’s been a while since I read this book, but I’ve always considered it as the best book I’ve read. I’ve also enjoyed reading the Hunger Games trilogy. To be honest, I want to read more books beacuse I honestly believe I don’t read enough fictional material.

What’s your favourite season?

My favourite season is either summer or autumn. I do love the sun and like other Brits, I wish we could see more of it throughout the year.

Where is the place you would like to see in the world?

There are a lot of cities I want to visit e.g. New York City, Toronto etc. but I also want to see places like Niagara falls,  the great wall of China and the pyramids in Egypt.

11 facts about me:

  • I was born in Nigeria
  • My favourite sport to watch is basketball (beacuse I don’t play any sports in real life)
  • I love munching on ice, i’d eat ice even if it was -30 degrees celsius
  • I don’t like the taste of cooked onions
  • I love watching anime
  • My favourite subject is media studies
  • I’m scared of dogs
  • If I could live in any other country, it would be American, specifically New York.
  • I’m an introvert
  • My middle name is Winnie
  • I love oreos

Moving Out (My 17th Birthday)

Woo!🎉 Today I turn 17 years old although, I had to wake up at 2 am so my family could catch a coach to the Victoria coach station to go to Manchester. The whole journey took about 7 hours. We’ll be currently living at my Uncles until we find another place to live in and I could potentially be missing quite a few days of school because Manchester is about 4hr away from where my school is. Me missing school isn’t necessarily too bad because we only have 2 weeks of school left however, we’re starting a big project in Biology and starting to write our UCAS application for university which I don’t want to miss out on.

To be honest, I really can’t believe I’m 17. I can get my drivers license like one of my closest friends has and then I can get a car. My Uncle in America last year said that he’d pay for my first car when I turn 18, so I really hope he keeps his promise! Ultimately he became one of my favourite Uncles because he bought me my iPhone 6 and my brother’s iPad mini.

Another thing that is speacial about today is that it is Swoozies birthday!! He’s one of my favourite, if not favourite, YouTubers and it’s awesome to share the same birthday as him. If you don’t know who he is, check out his YouTube channel here:https://m.youtube.com/user/swoozie06. He does videos and animations in funny stories (which is mostly about girls) and life experiences. I wished him a happy birthday on Twitter so I hope he sees my tweet!

I hope you guys have been having a wonderful day and please comment what you’ve been up to😊🎉🎈

1 exam to go!

I’ve done 6 out I the 7 AS exams I have to do this year and my last exam is in two weeks! On Tuesday, I had my psychology paper 2 exam which was very similar to paper 1 in the fact that it was neither easy or very hard, but it went OK. Psychology is one of the subjects I want to do really well in because I want to study psychology in university and then become a forensic psychologist, which deals with prisoners and crimes. I thought the 12 marker in my paper 2 exam went much better than the two 12 markers I had to do for the paper 1 exam so I’m quite happy about that.

Yesterday, I had my biology breadth exam paper which is basically tick boxes and short answer questions for those who don’t do AS biology. I must say, it went better than I thought even though OCR (the exam board) tried to add in some weird questions. You’d probably think that an exam made up of tick boxes and short answer questions would be pretty easy but there are always questions that are about tiny details that no one would have thought to revise e.g. What is the length of a mitochondria? 0.2nm, 0.8nm, 1.2nm or 0.02nm. Like, who would have bothered to remember that? Also, I can’t believe I put 1.6 million as an answer to the length of DNA. After the exam, I was discussing answers with one of my friends and I told her I put 1.6 million for that question and she looked at me as if I was crazy. I think she got 0.7 or something. LOL. Overall, it wasn’t a bad exam and I’m glad that the exam is over because I usually do worse in my biology breadth exam paper. On the 7th June, I have my second biology paper which is long answer questions.

However, half term in next week so I’m planning on going over all the topics I’ve done for biology so I can get a better mark and hopefully that pushes my grade up overall. I’m also going to be taking a break from revision, since that’s all I’ve done these last few weeks, and catch up on my favourite TV shows and anime. I’m currently watching Sailor Moon Sailor Stars and I’m 30 episodes into Hunter x Hunter!

Tell me what you’ve been up to this week and how your exams have been going!
